Logan Paul and LA Knight are at each other’s throats right now. Desperate for a shot at the United States Championship,
the latter has been going after Paul for weeks.
Whether it’s calling him out on SmackDown or going straight to his home,
Knight is doing everything he can to get a title match. However, before he can book that, Triple H might consider throwing the two into a tag team match alongside some major celebrities.
The celebrities in question are NBA superstars Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson. Representing the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, respectively, they could take their rivalry off the court and into the squared circle. With Logan Paul and Haliburton on one side and Brunson and LA Knight on the other, the WWE Universe would go wild. However, what are the chances of this happening?
Well, it is very unlikely that Triple H will be able to make this match happen. Although several NBA players, like Dennis Rodman, Karl Malone, and Shaquille O’Neal, have appeared in a wrestling ring, it would be a lot more challenging to make it happen nowadays. Haliburton and Brunson are active NBA players integral to their respective teams’ success. If either of them were to get injured wrestling, it would cause quite a commotion.
That being said, the two could perhaps get involved in a future match between LA Knight and Logan Paul. The Megastar and The Maverick will inevitably clash at some point, with the United States Championship on the line. Perhaps then, Haliburton and Brunson could settle their differences.
LA Knight could take on Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2024
Undoubtedly, LA Knight will get his chance to face Logan Paul. The only question is, when and where? Given what happened last night, Money in the Bank is out of the question. The Megastar pinned Paul in their triple-threat qualifying match featuring Santos Escobar to book his place in the ladder match scheduled in Toronto, Canada.
With Money in the Bank ruled out, it seems logical that WWE could book a match between the two for SummerSlam 2024. Cleveland, Ohio, would be the ideal setting, considering Knight may even be satisfied with taking the US Title away from The Maverick in his hometown.
It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the future. But, if one thing is for sure, Knight is determined to get his hands on his first-ever title on the main roster. Whether that’s at SummerSlam or some other time remains to be seen.
