A spoiler has emerged on an upcoming championship match, with a #1 contender’s bout taking place at Friday’s SmackDown taping.
The July 26 SmackDown episode was taped following this week’s (July 19) live episode in Omaha, Nebraska.
This is because WWE will be touring Japan next week, meaning that the penultimate SmackDown episode before SummerSlam has already been filmed.
During the taping, a tag-team gauntlet match took place to determine #1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were advertised for the match, leading many fans to predict that these two would win the whole match.
