but luckily, the former NXT Women’s Champion was unhurt. Dana Brooke, her partner, reflected on the incident, highlighting the electrifying atmosphere despite the slip.
Jinder Mahal’s Hilarious Blunder (-2,000)
In 2018, at the Greatest Royal Rumble, Jinder Mahal delivered one of the worst botches ever seen. During a match against Jeff Hardy, Mahal took a bump from Hardy’s Whisper in the Wind, despite Hardy landing 2 feet away. This decision made the botch look ridiculous and amateurish, especially considering Mahal’s recent reign as WWE Champion.
Kane’s Mask Comes Off (-3,000)
The controversial DX vs. Brothers of Destruction match in 2018 saw Kane’s mask fall off during a corner battle with Shawn Michaels. Although fans knew what Kane looked like, the sight of his mask falling was awkward and emblematic of the match’s numerous botches. The match was so poorly received that the participants have distanced themselves from it, with Shawn Michaels even expressing regret over coming out of retirement.
The Great Khali Gets Confused (-4,000)
The Great Khali, once seen as a potential major star, had many botches that dismantled his aura. One notable incident in 2010 involved a misunderstanding during an over-the-top rope challenge with Edge, where Khali mistakenly stepped over the top rope. This caused confusion among the audience and commentators, further diminishing his in-ring credibility.

Batista’s final match at WrestleMania 35 against Triple H was marred by an awkward slip as he entered the ring. Despite the stumble, Batista managed to recover and proceed with the match. However, this wasn’t the first time Batista delivered a hilarious botch, with a memorable one occurring on Raw in 2010.

In 2019, during a segment on Raw, Bobby Lashley was completely clueless about the script. As part of a faction with Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre, Lashley was supposed to team up with McIntyre to throw Kurt Angle into steel steps. Instead, Lashley paced back and forth, trying to interpret his role, making the segment painfully awkward.
Jack Swagger’s Big Moment (-7,000)
Jack Swagger’s win in the 2010 Money in the Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 26 was supposed to cement him as a star. However, Swagger struggled excessively to retrieve the briefcase, leading to WWE editing the pandemonium out of replays. His subsequent lifeless World Title run became one of the most forgettable in WWE history.
Stone Cold Steve Austin Gets Stuck (-8,000)
During the 1999 SummerSlam event, Stone Cold Steve Austin got his legs stuck in the ropes during a match against Mankind and Triple H. Unable to free himself, Austin had to go off-script to seek help from Triple H. The situation, though humorous, was an embarrassing moment for the top WWE star.
Shane McMahon Tears His Quad (-9,000)
At WrestleMania 39, Shane McMahon made a surprise return only to tear his quad seconds into his match against The Miz. The match was stopped, and McMahon was helped to the back. WWE quickly improvised, having Snoop Dogg defeat The Miz, showcasing WWE’s ability to adapt in real-time.
Titus O’Neil’s Iconic Slip (-10,000)
The Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 will always be remembered for Titus O’Neil’s unforgettable slip under the ring. Initially believed to be scripted, it became clear that O’Neil had legitimately fallen. WWE replayed the incident multiple times, with Vince McMahon reportedly laughing hysterically backstage. O’Neil later expressed no embarrassment, embracing the incident as part of his entertaining persona.
