This week’s WWE RAW saw Liv Morgan continue her story with The Judgment Day,
resulting in a World Tag Team Championship victory for the faction.
The current Women’s World Champion is at the top of the women’s division these days, and new information has given a fresh insight into how the push is paying off.
The Juvenile Delinquent is currently one of World Wrestling Entertainment’s top stars of the RAW brand.
Over on SmackDown, another title holder with strong drawing power is Cody Rhodes. The current Undisputed WWE Champion has been on a roll since long before he dethroned Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL. However, there have been some recent signs that point to Cody’s popularity potentially waning in the post-WrestleMania season.
The American Nightmare was just out-drawn by Morgan when it comes to Google search interest. RSN reported that recent data from Google Trends provided a snapshot at Liv’s growing popularity, revealing how she has surpassed Rhodes in search volume over the past month.
The data included Google web searches from around the world, for the 30-day period beginning on May 25, which was the date of WWE’s King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. Rhodes and Morgan both had big matches that night. Liv dominated the searches in North America, South America, Australia, Russia, plus several countries in Africa and Western Europe. Cody topped the interest in Saudi Arabia, Iran, and a few African countries.
The past 30 days since King and Queen of the Ring has been busy for Rhodes as he went to battle with AJ Styles and The Bloodline. Morgan won the Women’s World Championship at King and Queen of the Ring and has been involved with Dominik Mysterio and The Judgment Day since.
WWE announces big upcoming matches for Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan
Next week’s WWE RAW will see Liv Morgan make her second televised title defense since dethroning Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring.
Morgan will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against Zelina Vega on the go-home RAW for Money in the Bank. Liv’s first title defense came two days after her big win as she retained over Lynch in a Steel Cage match on WWE RAW.
Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, and since then he has retained over AJ Styles twice, and Logan Paul once. His next match will be a six-man bout at Money in the Bank on July 6.
The American Nightmare is set to team with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to take on The Bloodline at Money in the Bank. The heel team will feature a combination of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and/or Jacob Fatu.
