Ex-WWE star details first interaction with Triple H on popular show

WWE’s Chief Content Office Triple H has been around the business for over three decades.

The Game’s legendary in-ring career is hard to replicate.

Recently, former three-time Hardcore Champion Maven recalled his first interaction with The King of Kings on Tough Enough.

In 2001, WWE produced and aired the first season of Tough Enough.

The reality show was used to launch new stars in the Stamford-based promotion and major WWE Superstars frequently appeared on the show throughout its many seasons in the coming years.

One such name was Triple H who appeared on the first season’s third episode. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the three-time Hardcore Champion recalled his first interaction with The Game on the show.

“Up until this moment, we had absolutely no clue who was there or who was going to be there. The moment they told us to look ahead, we knew someone was going to be there, but we had no clue that they were going to start with someone as legendary as [Triple H] Hunter (…) Keep in mind at this point and at this moment, everyone sitting in those chairs were fans and the biggest fans. So, to see The Game, an icon of this business, I mean we were all starstruck. I don’t care if anyone says they’re not, they were. I guarantee. I know I was,” Huffman said. [From 01:07 to 02:02]
