A popular WWE personality believes Cody Rhodes could be challenged by a surprising name at SummerSlam 2024 for his Undisputed Title.

Sam Roberts stated that we might see Jacob Fatu facing Rhodes at the August 6th premium live event.

The American Nightmare once again got entangled with The Bloodline when the faction attacked him following his win over AJ Styles at Clash at the Castle 2024.

Rhodes, alongside Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, both of whom have been at loggerheads with the stables for weeks,

is set to go to war with the Solo Sikoa-led stable at Money in the Bank this week in Toronto, Ontario.

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts explained that this feud could be further extended until SummerSlam 2024. The RAW Talk host believes that while he could see either Solo Sikoa or Jaco Fatu face Cody Rhodes at The Biggest Party of the Summer, he believed The Samoan Werewolf would get the shot.

“I think that at SummerSlam, you’ll get Cody Rhodes against either Solo Sikoa or Jacob Fatu. Jacob Fatu could be the guy who faces Cody at SummerSlam certainly,” said Sam Roberts. [From 24:52 to 25:10]

Cody Rhodes on a potential showdown with The Rock

While appearing on The Pivot Podcast recently, The American Nightmare was asked about when his highly-anticipated singles clash with The Rock could come to fruition. Cody Rhodes recalled how The Final Boss had challenged him on the post-WrestleMania 40 episode of RAW and added that he was hoping to get inside the squared circle with the Hollywood megastar sometime next year.

“So Rock told me he’d see me when he comes back. My head has been on a swivel everyday since the day after WrestleMania. For when this ‘Final Boss’, as Rock goes by now, when that music hits, I’ll be in 100% in the same spot I was and I’ll be ready for him. […] If I could give you a guess, I feel like…I hope it happens in the next year.”

The Rock is one of the busiest actors in all of Hollywood. It remains to be seen when his schedule allows him to return to WWE and set up a program with Rhodes.
