Better Than Takeout Fried Rice – Full Recipe

This Asian-Inspired Vegetable Fried Rice is not just a dish;

it’s a delightful journey through the exotic flavors of the East.

The colorful array of vegetables brings a vibrant touch to the plate,

complementing the subtly flavored rice that’s tossed in a blend of traditional Asian spices.

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice, cooled
1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers), chopped
2 green onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sugar
2 eggs, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute.
Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
Push the vegetables to the side, add the beaten eggs to the pan, and scramble.
Add the rice, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
