Apple Spice Fritter Bread – Full Recipe

Imagine biting into a warm slice of Apple Spice Fritter Bread,

This bread is not just a treat for your taste buds but a feast for your senses with its inviting aroma and rustic,

homemade charm.

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 ½ cups diced apples
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
Fold in diced apples and walnuts, if using.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Mix brown sugar and an additional teaspoon of cinnamon, sprinkle over the top of the batter.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
