Homemade Lasagna – Full Recipe

This Classic Homemade Lasagna recipe is a heartwarming feast that brings the taste of Italy right into your kitchen.

With its layers of tender noodles,

rich tomato meat sauce, and a creamy blend of ricotta, mozzarella,

and Parmesan, each bite is a delightful blend of textures and flavors.

Perfect for a family dinner or a cozy gathering, this traditional lasagna recipe will leave everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients:
9 lasagna noodles
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 egg
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Spread 1 cup meat sauce in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer with 3 noodles, a third of the ricotta mixture, a third of the mozzarella cheese, and a third of the Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers twice.
Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover; bake until heated through and bubbly, about 20 minutes more. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
