This dish is a delightful amalgamation of tender chicken breasts marinated in a unique blend of soy sauce,
brown sugar, garlic, and ginger,
all brightened with a hint of pineapple juice.

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup canned pineapple chunks (optional)
Directions:
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and pineapple juice to create the teriyaki marinade.
Marinate chicken breasts in this mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
Remove chicken from marinade, reserving the liquid.
Grill chicken 5-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
Simultaneously, boil the reserved marinade in a saucepan.
Mix cornstarch with water and add to the boiling marinade to thicken.
Slice cooked chicken and serve with thickened teriyaki sauce, garnished with green onions and optional pineapple chunks.
