Ahead of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes took some time to celebrate a very special occasion with his wife Brandi. She has shared it on social media.

The couple recently celebrated their daughter’s third birthday.

Cody Rhodes has been on the wrong side of things regarding WWE storylines.

The star was trying to prove a point by teaming with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank to face Solo Sikoa and Bloodline. Unfortunately, things went very wrong, and now it appears that another name might have a claim on his title soon.

After losing at Money in the Bank 2024, the Undisputed WWE Champion may have to give Solo Sikoa a title shot for beating him. If so, it will be the Bloodline’s first chance to get the title back to their faction since Roman Reigns lost it at WrestleMania.

Now, the star has taken a moment away from all the issues on WWE SmackDown to celebrate a special occasion with his family. Brandi Rhodes posted pictures of their daughter Liberty’s third birthday celebrations with him. They had a clear theme of Aladdin, with the child dressing up as Princess Jasmine.

WWE veteran thinks Cody Rhodes will face a former champion at SummerSlam

While it seems Cody Rhodes will face Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam, there has been no confirmation.

However, a WWE veteran also feels that this is the match the company has to book. Matthew Rehwoldt, aka Aiden English, spoke about it on the Rebooked podcast.

“It’s a stepping stone match. This is a stepping stone to get to a Solo/Cody confrontation at some point, you know, probably SummerSlam because they’re trying to really establish this Solo thing,” he said. [52:14 – 52:27]

Fans will have to wait until SmackDown to see if that’s happening.
