Renee Paquette sends a heartfelt message to Roman Reigns after his father Sika Anoa’i’s passing

Renee Paquette has just sent a heartfelt message to Roman Reigns after the passing of his father, Sika Anoa’i earlier today.

Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young) had worked in WWE previously in the role of a backstage interviewer/announcer.

Earlier today, Sika’s death was announced by the family members. He was one-half of the legendary tag team,

The Wild Samoans, along with his brother Afa. They were also inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.

Earlier tonight, Roman Reigns posted an emotional message on social media following his father’s passing. He thanked everyone on behalf of his family for the overwhelming amount of messages and support they had received. He shared a short message for his father and claimed that they will forever do their best to continue his legacy.

Among those who replied to the post was Renee Paquette, who had a heartfelt message for the bereaved.

“Sending you so much love. Thinking of you and your family,” Paquette replied.
WWE Hall of Famer pays tribute to Sika Anoa’i
WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes was one of those to pay tribute to Sika Anoa’i earlier tonight.

Hayes is known for his time in WCW and WWF from the 1980s to 1990s. He is also known as the leader of the iconic faction, The Fabulous Freebirds. The members of the group were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

He currently works for the Stamford-based promotion as Vice President of Creative Writing & Booking and as a Senior Producer.

On X/Twitter, he paid rich tribute to Sika Anoa’i, talking about how without The Wild Samoans, The Fabulous Freebirds would not exist. He also brought up how the veteran was like an elder brother to him. He then sent his best wishes to the bereaved family.

“Words can not express my feelings on the passing of Sika. If not for Sika, and Afa, there would be no Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, Fabulous Freebirds, period. Sika was as always like an older brother to me. Prayers to Afa, Joe and the entire family. Now Sika rests with God. [folded hands emoji x 2],” Michael Hayes wrote.
It is safe to say that the legacy of Sika Anoa’i and The Wild Samoans will live on, with The Bloodline being direct proof of this. What they brought to the wrestling world will live on forever.
