Bash in Berlin made history with the largest gate for an arena show, something that WWE has been consistently creating with recent shows in Europe,

but despite the success, there are many fans disappointed with the event.

The following list looks at some of the biggest mistakes that WWE made at Bash in Berlin this weekend.

#4. Predictable show

One thing that many fans piled up on social media throughout the show was how predictable the event was. While Kevin Owens teased a heel turn, he didn’t actually follow through with it and it was clear that the Women’s Tag Team Championships would change hands.

WWE seems to have booked themselves into a corner at present where many of their biggest titles are already locked in storylines and hence won’t be changing hands for a while.

#3. The Bloodline left off the card
While there was a clear reason why The Bloodlne was absent this weekend, with the funeral of Afa Anoai taking place, there was still something missing from the show. The five-match card was stacked around Gunther, who was able to deliver in the main event but it could be argued that the X-factor was still absent.

At SummerSlam, fans were sent home happy after the return of Roman Reigns. However, this month’s show was missing a vital piece which meant that it felt like nothing more than a weekly episode of RAW or SmackDown.

#2. No interference from Jey Uso
Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley have been teasing coming together for several weeks, ever since Dominik Mysterio betrayed Mami and went with Liv Morgan. It seems that many fans believed that this weekend would be the perfect time for Uso to join The Terror Twins when The Judgment Day interfered.

As noted above, there were reasons for Uso not being part of Bash in Berlin, but many fans were looking for some surprises and the show didn’t include any.

#1. Randy Orton/Gunther finish
Randy Orton and Gunther were both over in Germany which meant that WWE was in a tough position with the main event. It was clear that fans wouldn’t be happy regardless but the finish just fell flat.

Having Orton pass out to the sleeper hold was meant to show Gunther as a monster and Orton definitely put him over, but as the finish to the show, it felt like there was something lacking. WWE had a number of options for the finish to not make it flat, but after King of the Ring’s controversy, they clearly wanted to make sure this time around.
